The Alsager Light Orchestra was founded in 2005 by Bill Freeman and is now under the leadership of  Ken Macintosh

Players come from Alsager and the surrounding communities and have continued to grow in numbers. Members meet every Tuesday afternoon during term time, to explore a wide repertoire of 20th century music from major films and the great stage shows.

The orchestra arranges occasional concerts to showcase its achievements, supporting local charities in the process.
